Please note that a once of fee of R200.00 inclusive of VAT will be charged as an activation fee on any server nodes and will be charged at the end of the first month of usage.
You will be billed at the end of each month, if an agent has been in use for more than 2 days of the month. Initially 1 agent can be purchased and more added as needed.
Upon purchase you will be given access to your own dashboard. Convexum can assist with the deployment, configuration and setup of the required agents.
Download the Windows Monitoring Agent from the Dashboard, then run the installer on those
devices you wish to place under monitoring.
Manual Agent Installation Breakdown
1. Login to the Dashboard
2. Download the Agent from either the Agent or File menu:
a) Go to Agent
b) Download Agent
c) Select the version of the Windows Monitoring Agent to download
a) Go to File
b) Add Device
c) Download Agent
d) Select the version of the Windows Monitoring Agent to download
This action triggers the download of a compressed file containing the requested version of the
Windows Monitoring Agent.
3. Unpack the downloaded file on the computer you wish to place under monitoring.
4. Run the executable
a) Select the language
b) Agree to the EULA (where acceptable)
c) Configure the proxy settings (if required)
d) At Login, enter your Dashboard username and password in
e) For Workstation Operating System choose Agent mode:
a. Server (full range of Checks)
b. Workstation (a subset of device focused Checks)
f) Enter the new device details,
a. Device Name (Non-configurable for workstations)
d. Select the Monitoring Template to apply.
g) Configure or tweak the 24×7 and Daily Safety Checks
h) Test all checks to quickly identify any failing Checks before they are uploaded to the
i) Start monitoring now and choose the account the Agent service runs under.
If Network Discovery is enabled for the network, you can use the Push Install option to deploy the Windows Agent.
